We decided to do a themed Christmas this year. Now don’t get me wrong there are still a lot of Santa Claus and Snowmen in our decorations and our Nativity has a special place on the shelf but we wanted to add something new this year. So my tree topper this year is a Big Foot Silhouette and some where on my tree another Big Foot is hiding and I did two ornaments with pictures on them of our gate signs. Yes, you guessed it one is the LHR and the other is Big Foot. 🙂 I’ve had a lot of fun with the theme and so has Norm as he has made a sign(a Big foot) for our young Grand Boys to discover and we have a little something for each of them when they can show us the sign. We will be having our Christmas early with our children and grandchildren this year. We started this when we were RVing. We discovered having our Christmas the weekend before the holiday made life so much easier and a lot more fun for us. No rushing about and no having to dress up. Just wear what you want and be comfortable. Norm will be making his Wassail for sure and there are some goodies I plan to make. It will be a wonderful day of Family fun! We can’t wait!:)
This year the Elves have invaded my house and I have been posting their and Bob’s (Norm’s rescue toy) antics each morning. That has been fun and makes me smile. Who knows what those three will get into next.
I know my Mom will be spending the Christmas Season with the Lord and I am sure she is having a ball. I can just imagine her singing and dancing in joy that she is Home. Today we hung up her bird feeder that I brought with us. How she loved to see and hear the birds. I am blessed to have her birdbath too. I also brought with me some of her plants and set them out in my flower garden. I can’t wait to see them bloom. She loved her flowers and garden so much. Just wish I had her Green Thumb!!!
Life in 2020 has had a lot of challenges as well as a lot of sadness but there have been a lot of blessings too. I plan to celebrate the life we have and hope and pray that 2021 is a much better year for everyone here in the USA and around the World.
Wishing all of you a Very Merry Christmas! May your Christmas be filled with Love and Laughter and bring you huge amounts of Joy.
