Things You Thought You Might Never Use But You Brought Them Anyway!

Good Morning!

Hope this finds everyone doing well.

Norm will soon be on the road driving the Turn Pike to Jury Duty. Yes he was chosen to serve. So for this week I am at home with the Lily. That means a daily bike ride up to the dumpster to drop off our trash, three walks with our Lily, another load of laundry when he gets home and some chores. I do plan to do a few crafts and sit outside with the Lily so we can enjoy this Fall weather of ours. 🙂

So that brings me to a couple of items I brought with me that I wasn’t sure about. I am so glad I did bring the iron and the ironing board. They have proven themselves very useful this week. When you store your clothes in containers or a small short closet there are bound to be a lot of wrinkles. Well having the iron here has made getting Norm looking spiffy a breeze! I am so glad I brought them and then kept them even though it was a challenge to figure out the best way to store them.

Yesterday I worked on my 2020 calendar and finished redoing my address book. It’s amazing just how long it takes to put all those birthdays and anniversaries on my calendar but it is well worth it and keeps me sane later on. I still have a few cards and letters to write so I can mail them later this week. So I hope today to get a few of those done as well as mopping the floor. It’s a never ending job.

Well I need to get off here and get ready for Lily’s first walk of the day. I sure could use another cup of coffee!  🙂

Hope everyone has a Splendid Tuesday filled Fabulous Things.
