Our morning began with Lily’s breakfast and walk. Now it’s off to Quest for our blood pull and then somewhere for breakfast. We’re not sure just what is around there but Norm thinks there maybe a Steak-n-Shake. If there is that’s where we’ll be shortly after we’re done. So NO COFFEE for me only water till afterwards! 😦 I do love my coffee and it is hard to do without it! 😦
Well we made it to Ochlockonee River S.P. and the park is quite lovely. There is just one major complaint we have and that is the way you have to maneuver your rig to get into your site. We’ve been here before, but that was 3 years ago and we said then we wouldn’t get this site again. But time passed and we forgot how much of a pain it was to get in this site. We were not happy with each other and I kept saying I hate this park as we tried to put the Kodiak in here for the 7th and then the 8th time. On the 9th try we made it!!!!! The site is level and roomy and has a beautiful view of trees and water and that is definitely a plus in it’s favor. I just wish parking our Kodiak on the site was easier.
We did a fuel run and on the way back we stopped at the boat dock and took Lily for a short walk. It was so Peaceful there. You could hear the wind in the pines a sound we adore. I was able to take a few pictures from the dock. I really loved the look of this one with the sun shining on the water. Then while Norm took pictures I took Lily for a walk and 2 deer bounded across in front of us and she wanted to go chase them. Lily wasn’t happy with me when I told her NO. After that we headed home for dinner and some relaxation time. We also changed time zones today so it may take a few days to adjust back to Eastern Time since we’ve been on Central Time for many months.
Well I need to get a move on. We have a hours drive to Quest and we don’t want to be late.
Hope everyone has an Amazing Thursday filled with Hope.
