Good Morning from Arkansas!
Mother Nature is sure a force to be reckoned with. She can be calm and serene or wild and dangerous. Mother Nature is unpredictable and though we do our best to understand and predict her movements, she often leaves us gasping at what she has done and what she can and will do whenever the mood strikes her. So we must always be prepared for the worst and hope and pray for the best. This picture is one I took from the Visitor Center’s viewing deck at Pinnacle Mountain S.P. They have a neat hands on area for kids and several interesting displays of nature too. So if you’re in the area stop by and check it out.
Today is Pack Down Day. Hopefully I can get it done quickly and have time to do some fun things today too. My cleaning is done and that is always a good feeling and I even rearranged a cabinet and a drawer. That just made me think of other storage and decorating ideas I have running through my mind. So I wrote them down in my Journal and will have to see how I can accomplish them. I’ve learned this first year that I need to keep things simple. Also that though you don’t use things often, like the first aid kit, it must be kept where you can get to it quickly. Living in a little over 300 square feet makes you realize you must use every inch of that space. You need to get the most out of every cabinet, drawer, closet, wall and counter that you have. That means redoing a lot of what you started with and doing something else that works better. Trial and Error way of doing things seems to work the best. I hate that I have spent money on things I may not be able to continue to use but then again if it’s not working then it needs to be replaced. Sigh! A never ending battle. One I hope to win soon!
So I am off to walk the Lily, have devotions, do a few exercises and make breakfast then I can begin to PACK! But first I need more COFFEE!!!!!
Hope everyone has an Amazing and Safe Tuesday!
