This is the view from my window here in the Kodiak. I couldn’t resist taking a photo of it. The trees are so green and lush and with the sun shining through it seems kind of magical and oh so peaceful.
I’m not sure what we are doing today. We haven’t really planned anything yet. It’s been really nice to just sit and relax for a while. No rush to do anything. I know as we move into the upper states there will be more things we want to see and do and people we want to visit with so this is like a lull in our everyday life. As Dr. Ballard would say we are recharging our batteries.
Oh the squirrels have left my plants alone so far. My plants are doing well and it is nice to have some fresh herbs to cook with. I have to constantly put a choke hold on myself as now whenever I see a pretty plant I want to bring it with me. I keep reminding myself that I don’t have the room for a whole garden of plants and flowers. The flowers and shrubs are so pretty and vibrant this year. Amazing!
Well I am going to exercise today. I have been lax the past few days and I need to get back in the groove. I feel better afterwards but it’s the getting up and doing them that seems to be the problem. My chair and a good book are so very inviting that I don’t want to move at all.
I hope the wind is just a mild breeze today and not like it was yesterday. We did have a couple of limbs come down but none of them were close to the Kodiak. We are very grateful for that.
Well I need to get started on my day and the first stop is the coffee pot for a refill. then onto devotions and exercising. Soon it will be Lily’s walk time.
Hope everyone has a Sweet Saturday filled with Hope and Love.
