A Cloudy View

A Cold Good Morning to you from Georgia!

I just had to take some pictures of the view from the Walmart’s parking lot that we were at the other day. This was a first for us that after the lights went out the generators kicked in and that their check out system was still down when we got in line. We had to wait in line for at least an hour for the system to reboot and then it would only take cash. So Norm had to go to the ATM machine there and get the money to pay for our stuff. We did meet a very nice couple who were celebrating their anniversary and we visited with them while we waited. It was an ADVENTURE in PATIENCE! We then proceeded to the Subway and they had no problems with their system at all! Go Figure!!!

Yesterday was a lazy day for me I just couldn’t get motivated to do anything. Today feels different. After breakfast I will make the chocolate ice cream base and put it in the fridge so I can churn it tomorrow. I still have to get my large crock pot out of the truck so I can use it to cook the Turkey breast for our Easter dinner. I’ll do that later maybe it will warm up some.

I’ve seen some adorable pictures out on Social Media of family members getting ready for Easter. I remember the Easter Egg coloring. It’s so much fun to see all the creativity that kids and adults can come up with for making a simple white egg become a masterpiece.

Thank you to all who wished my Mother a Happy Birthday. She says she had a good day and that makes me smile.

I need more coffee, as if that is anything unusual.

I wish all of you a very Happy Easter Eve.
