Hope everyone is doing well today. I am better and Norm will battle his asthma and allergies through out the Spring season and we will be seeing a lot of Spring this year!
Yesterday the wind was not a gentle breeze but more like a lion’s roar here. Norm checked our awning’s tie downs many times during the day. When you stepped outside the wind almost swept you off your feet. Of course that’s when they decided to mow the grass and do the trimming around the trees and flowers. We saw several Spring flowers in bloom and some of the trees are just beginning to bloom too. Beautiful! This is the first time in many years we have seen these kinds of flowers and trees in bloom.
We walked up to the office for the mail and on our way back we stopped to take a picture of the pollen on the pond when I saw this tree. It’s a Weeping kind of tree and I am not that good on tree types so I don’t know if it’s a Willow or not. What I do know is that when the wind blew this tree looked so amazing that I ask Norm to take a picture for me. I had Lily’s leash and I had also left my phone and camera back at the Kodiak so no picture taking for me! This tree reminded me of the series of animated videos that we watched with Jon and the Grand Girls when they were little. It’s called the “Wind In The Willows” and we really enjoyed this series so much that we bought them on DVD. The only thing is we don’t have is the Halloween one! BOO HOO!!!!! That’s our favorite one too. Ever so often we get them out and watch them. Yes, I am SMILING!!!
Today is an errand day. We hope to get it done rather quickly as we are having rain today. Norm says we’ve already had a shower or two. So I guess I had better get a move on. I need another cup of coffee and soon we will have to take Miss Lily for her first walk of the day.
