New Year’s Eve

Happy New Year’s Eve everyone!

I hope everyone is ready for the New Year and that you have some awesome plans for tonight to welcome in 2019. This year our New Year’s Eve will be different no fireworks for one. Fireworks are not allowed in the parks.

We are planning a picnic for today and a short hike down to a lake we can see from the road.  We are going to BBQ pork steaks for dinner and later have a campfire with  campfire coffee. Then we will toast the new year in with some bubbly we got for Christmas. It sounds like a perfect New Year’s Eve to me and I am so glad to be spending it with Norm and the Lily.

Since we started our Full Time Adventurer back on August 25th we have visited 9 of our Florida parks. One of these parks was a KOA and the other was a state park that we have visited numerous times.

In case you’re interested here is a list of the parks we stayed at. Kissimmee Prairie Preserve S.P., Lake Kissimmee S.P., Colt Creek S.P.,Lake Manatee S.P.,Highlands Hammock S.P.,Mike Roess Gold Head S.P.(visited several times),Starke KOA, O”Leno S.P. and Lake Louisa S.P. Florida does have some beautiful parks and we can’t wait to visit even more of them when we return in October of 2019.

We did visit our oldest daughter and her family yesterday. Their new home is beautiful and just right for them. Thank you for the tour and lunch.

We still have a Lily walk to go on and breakfast to do. So I guess I had better get started.

Also we want to thank everyone for making our 2018 year an exciting and fun beginning to our Full Time Adventurer.

P.
