People You Meet On The Road

They say places are nice to visit but it’s the people you meet there that make them memorable. I would have to agree.

The State Parks we’ve been to in the 62 days of being Nomads have been beautiful places, but what stands out the most for us is the people we’ve met there.

We have met some wonderful park staff members, volunteers, and camp ground hosts. They made our camping life so much easier. Some of these were very helpful while others were just a lot of fun to be around and then some were both. Makes for a great camping experience.

Then there are the other campers. Some are entertaining, some perplexing and some just a joy to talk to and you feel like you have known them forever.  These are the ones you exchange your information with hoping to keep in touch as your journey continues and so does theirs. Keeping in touch with everyone will be a challenge!

Norm and I are looking forward to meeting a lot of new people on our journey and also reconnecting with friends and family.

So until next time stay safe and happy camping!
